Can't boot past the Apple logo after updating Clover

I don'y know what you mean by "creating an EFI partition" and then copying his EFI folder to it. Maybe that's the problem?
See this chart, on the left side is the USB thumb drive. Use the EFI agent app to mount it's EFI partition. Then put the Edhawk Clover EFI folder onto that partition.

Makes sense why this isn't booting, then. Where do I get EFI agent app? Do I install that on my Mojave drive? or the thumbdrive? Sorry, I haven't had to do any of this stuff in 4 years, so please excuse my lack of knowledge, lol. That and the fact that I've been down for 2 days.

Haha, yes, thanks :) I think I copied it on there. Let me try and mount it again

OK, I was able to put Edhawk's Clover EFI on my thumbdrive and boot from it.

  1. Copy the EFI Folder to the EFI Partition on a spare USB pen drive. Check
  2. Boot from the UEFI partition on the USB Pen Drive, use the F12 key to bring up the boot menu, or set your bios to boot from a USB pen drive as the boot priority. Check
  3. When you arrive on the Clover Boot screen, press the F11 key, to clear NVRAM. Check
  4. If the system doesn't reboot automatically, you need to reboot the system, so the old entries are removed from Nvram. Check
  5. Reboot the system from the pen drive again, this time select your macOS Mojave drive. -
When I reboot after pressing F11 and choosing my Mojave drive, I'm still getting stuck at the Apple logo

If I try and reboot to my Mojave partition from his EFI partition, I'm getting some kind of kernel panic.

Then you need to press the spacebar at the Clover boot screen. Check the box (-v) for verbose booting. Watch where it stops and read the last line of text.

Shut down the PC. Turn power switch to off on the PSU. Remove all but one of the ram sticks and then try booting from the USB drive again.

OK, removed all but 1 RAM stick
Booted from thumbdrive, got to ED's Clover screen, chose to boot from Mojave partition.
Got a long kernel panic which ends with: corecrypto 1.0
Can't really see the rest because the screen is cut off
