Thanks Ed.
How do I specify the DMAR table correctly? I attached a screenshot of it.
I deleted the unused SSDT's. I think I did it correctly.
Thanks again for your help . I am out of my depth here. Opencore is
all new to me.
Please use OpenCore Configurator and you’ll see that all those additional SSDTs are simply disabled. We should not delete them because in the future you may need them. They are for different configurations.

This DMAR problem can be fixed easily.

First check if VT-d is enabled in BIOS. If it’s not enabled please enable it. Then try booting the macOS installer again.

ok I already deleted them so I will make a new EFI and start again.
Are you saying to disregard Edhawks suggestions and just enable VT-d in BIOS? It's disabled now as per the guide.

The EFI folder is properly setup already, but it needs the user to configure BIOS and generate serial numbers. So no other changes are needed. But yes please enable VT-d in BIOS.

Speaking of serial numbers, check that your “PlatformInfo” section contains serial numbers rather than “Fill In” placeholders.

Apologies . Just confused here. Edhawk said to delete any SSDTS not enabled. Which i did. If I understand you correctly, you are saying to NOT do this. How do I get those back into plist and ACPI without creating a new EFI or do I need to get them back.
I followed the guide exactly so had VT-d disabled. I will try this and see how it goes.
Also will check the platform info section.
Many many thanks

We can always add SSDTs in the future so no worries. Let’s just enable VT-d in BIOS and see what happens.

I updated the build guide this morning regarding VT-d. Apologies for not doing that sooner!

ok cool will do that.
In relation to the platform info. Is it ok to follow the main guide ( ie select imac19.1 etc)? The instructions are slightly different from the mini guide...

iMac19,1 or iMac20,2 are both good options.

That worked! Thank you.
But still not quite there. I was able to get as far as erases the ssd and installing OS. When system reboots and i again choose the USB " MacOS " is not present in the menu. Just "Install MacOS"

Please have a look at the build guide, starting here:

I have been following this guide. At Step 11 MacOS doesn't show up. The only option is Install OS Catalina
