pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I updated to 0.8.6. Now I'm stuck. With my USB backup (EFI 0.8.4) I get the same message. I checked the BIOS to make sure all settings are the same. what could it be?

I also reset NVRAM.

I don't know. Please post your EFI.

Just add "agdpmod=pikera" (without the quotes).
Just added last night my new RX6900XT which as on sale 699 euro. I only had to add "agdpmod=pikera" (didn't tried without). Until now I'm quite happy with it. It draws so much less power compared to the VEGA 64. Had some coil whine but it's only noticeable in Safari browsing some websites. In Windows I had to stick with v-sync and 144Hz or so to keep the buzz out of my GPU. I played Battlefield 5 with it maxed out all settings and sometimes the GPU stops spinning her fans.

I now have Ventura installed. My monitor is connected with a DisplayPort cable and I can't get 144Hz, just 95Hz. Many have had the problem since Big Sur. Is there a solution for this in the meantime?
Did you consider good cables? I had to upgrade mines to 8K capable ones. I have even 165 in Ventura (which I had in previous macOS release as well).

Thank you !

If You have the WiFi AC version of the board, then maybe it can work. If not - like me - an other adapter can be used:

It should work on every board with M.2 M key slot. I'm using this on my Z390 board and it is working perfectly. :)

Thank you !

Did your motherboard come with a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card? If yes, then the adaptor you linked to can be used to replace it.

If your motherboard did not come with a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card, you will need a PCI-e adaptor.

ok, my motherboard is the z370 g. I assume i'll have to find a pci-e adaptor ? can you give my an advice for
an adaptor ?

Thank you very much !
