macOS Ventura is Now Available From the Mac App Store

You have to change the SMBIOS to a closer 2017 or 2019 Mac. Check the forums for the most suitable SMBIOS for your pc specs. Or you can check on everymac.com to look at specs of all Macs to find the closest one that is supported by Ventura.

1. update OC and all kexts with latest versions with current SMBIOS and current OS.
2. log out of iCloud.
3. change the SMBIOS in config file.
4. log into iCloud
5. update to Ventura will be available now. Update.
Thank you for your answer. I can't find a model near mine :/ do you have idea of Wich one? I out the screenshot of specifications on the post up here.

chazy, don't be lazy. read dortania open core install guide.
your profile shows 6600k Skylake processor. so, iMac 18,1 if using integrated GPU, or iMac 18,3 if you have AMD graphics card.

for 18,1 posted my config here.

Mine too is not working. I just noticed it.
Solved by disabling the Device Properties associated with the i225.
Hello good afternoon mate, I have the same problem as you, can you tell me how you solved the problem? I find myself stuck. Cheers

Only thing that doesn't work post update is private relay. It seems on macOS 13 or higher, it's force disabled if there are literally ANY 3rd party kexts installed, which is kind of hard to avoid on a hack. :\
Hi, Can you share your your EFI ?
I have the same motherboard with RX580.
Thank you !

Easy upgrade, using Opencore 8.5.
First, I installed (upgraded from earlier versions) the following kexts...
AppleALC 1.7.5
Lilu 1.6.2
VirtualSMC 1.3.0
WhateverGreen 1.6.1
BRCMPatchRAM 2.6.4 (no sure if this was necessary; will try removing to see what happens)

The entire upgrade took under a half hour. Everything working so far (audio, wireless).

Upgrade went easy using OpenCore 0.8.3. It took me about 30 min to do that. After the upgrade, WiFi stopped working, and I continued on Ethernet. After a while, WiFi started working without intervention on my side and worked until I put the rig to sleep. The next day I found the rig woken, and the WiFi was broken again. Still no WiFi. Very confusing.
