Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

@Casesj,

Thank you for the Kernel OCC snapshot. Please update Post#1's OCC snapshots as they're 0.7.8 (IRC). Thank you very much.
@Stork,

I've replaced the following two screenshots for now. Because there are changes in every new version of OpenCore, I'll replace a couple more screenshots after doing a 0.8.1 update.

Hi! Just out of curiosity, what app do you use for annotating screenshots?

I use the annotation feature built into macOS. If you select an existing image and press spacebar on it, you’ll get a QuickLook with an option along the top row of QuickLook that opens the annotator.

Great! I've been using various apps until now and only switched to Mojave a few months ago... :mrgreen: Thanks for the tip! :thumbup:

@Jeson I used your EFI and my Aero D is booting but only the 2.5G Network port works not the 10G port. How can I get this working?
Please refer to the settings here
But the AQC 113 network card is only available in Monterey,Big Sur not working

Hello, I have used the Titan Ridge V2.0 card for a period of time. The situation is as follows:

1. If you flash the NVM50 firmware and cold start the computer, the TB3 docking station will be invalid. Specifically, the video signal output from the docking station cannot light up the Dell U2720Q display, nor can you identify the device connected to the USB port;

2. If you use a Titan ridge card without flashed firmware, the cold start docking station can light up the external display. Because the display itself is an docking station, you need to connect through the TB3 docking station. However, when you enter the MacOS 12.4 system, you will not be able to identify the TB3 docking station. You must restart it twice to identify it. The SSDT you use is provided in this post.

3. If you use the docking station that has refreshed the NVM50 firmware, you can only directly light up the display from one thunderbolt port1 or 2 port of the docking station. At this time, I will occupy two thunderbolt port1 or 2 ports of the Titan ridge because the other port needs to be connected to the TB3 docking station.

Question to ask: can I identify the TB3 docking station on the card that has refreshed the NVM50 firmware at the first cold start? This not only solves the problem of cold start display, but also solves the problem of entering the system to identify TB3 docking station.

If you can, would you please update the firmware in the warehouse?

We recommend flashing NVM33 on GC-Titan Ridge. What is the make/model of the Thunderbolt Dock? Are you connecting the Dell 2720Q directly to GC-Titan Ridge, or connecting Dell monitor to a Thunderbolt 3 Dock? In other words:
  1. Dell Monitor --> GC-Titan Ridge?
  2. Dell Monitor --> Thunderbolt 3 Dock --> GC-Titan Ridge?

2. If you use a Titan ridge card without flashed firmware, the cold start docking station can light up the external display. The Dell U2720Q has a USB-C input for video and data. It has a USB-C hub on board to connect other USB devices. The Dell U2720Q is not a Thunderbolt monitor, but it should work with a USB Type C cable connected directly between the monitor and the GC-Titan Ridge.

I am confused by this. How are your devices connected?
  • Dell Monitor --> GC-Titan Ridge Port 1?
  • Thunderbolt 3 Dock --> GC-Titan Ridge Port 2?

We recommend NVM33 for GC-Titan Ridge.

** Quick Note on macOS 13: Ventura **

Apple intends to release a public beta of Ventura next month. As soon as it's available, I'll post a mini-guide explaining (a) OpenCore configuration, (b) installation options, and (c) what works and what does not work. Meanwhile, consider upgrading to latest version of macOS Big Sur or Monterey. And latest version of OpenCore (0.8.1).
