Thunderbolt 3 Modified Firmware Custom SSDT Discussion

crashed on booting to desktop on first boot -this SMBIOs so far not feeling any better - still running as of 13.36 - 13.57 still going...14.34 still going....

I have two thoughts here.

1. Maybe having proper power management will fix this. Search for x86platform X79. I think this is the main one.

2. If not, Catalina might be the end of the line.

Shot in the dark but you could try a couple of things here:

1) Try these the two kext attached.
2) Try disabling the Kext/Patches you have

Yep, EFI attached. I disabled the patches and disabled CPUTscSync as well for now. No clue if this works just shooting in the dark a little bit. TB3 is also disabled.

The good news is no crash on the most recent one - I'll run the new one and report - thanks

Sweet. Hoping for X86Platform! I usually try to be more scientific about it but right now we can just throw things against the wall.

I tried a couple of times to boot - got this - can send a larger pic if u can't see this

Cool deal, open the Config and go to Kernel in the left column then Patch in the top row. Enable all of them and try again.

same result - refusing intelcpumanagement kext...
