[Success] ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX + TB3 + iGPU + Mojave + SFF Build

I’ll have to play around a little. The update seems to have affected my TB3 functionality.

@CaseySJ Just a placeholder but may need some troubleshooting assistance. Hot Plug and everything else was working great in big Sur. No TB3 drivers or anything loading in Monterey.

Edit. The only thing I did was enable the iGPU in bios (even though I have a dGPU) and set TB support to boot-once. Now I have everything working, including TB hot-plug and what not.

Who knows... Hackintoshes are finicky.

Update (again). Don’t update to Monterey just yet. After a recent reboot, I can’t get into my MacOS anymore. Seems this new OS is really finicky with 12.0.1. Going to keep playing around. I may have to go back to 11.6.

Genuine thanks for your updates. Great to share reports from the bleeding edge.

Last update... I have Monterey and Windows 11 dual booting flawlessly (separate drives, selected from bios boot up).

Everything works perfectly using OC 0.7.5.

Again, much appreciated

Hey Gang, I need a bit a of help with OC (and maybe Clover).
I don't have a Radeon card, so I am using only the integrated card; my CPU is an i7-9700K.
Also, I boot from SATA SSD, don't have NVMe. Right now I have Mojave, and dual boot with Windows.

I have managed to make a working EFI folder with OC 6.6 for Mojave (right now I have Clover), I boot up ok, things seem to work like with my Clover EFI, although one thing I noticed that doesn't work is that after sleep I can't wake up my pc with moving the mouse or touching a key on the keyboard (with Clover config this works..). If I hit the power button it wakes. I have no idea what this might be related to, or where to look for the error.

The other thing I noticed, and would like to ask for help, is that with OC 0.7.6 (also tried 0.7.5 and 4), after I migrate the config.plist and validate it + update all the other OC files, I cannot boot with it because at boot OC doesn't show the MacOs partition, only the Windows one. This seems to happen for me only with OC 0.7, not 0.6. I also updated the drivers and everything else, tried with both HFSPlus.efi and OpenHFSPlus.efi. Weird.

@Joshmo, I noticed you posted a link to a post describing how to migrate to newer Clover version, which can also boot Big Sur, didn't go through that yet, but thanks for that.. Could you maybe post a working EFI for that as base for comparison?

Sure, here you go (serials etc removed). I'm using this with Clover 5142 to dual boot 10.15.7 and Windows 11 (separate drives). I'm no expert by any stretch - just followed guides here and tried to learn bit by bit, but it works well for me.
(Edit: now removed)

Thanks, I'll try it out. So you now boot Big Sur with Clover, or you just tried it out because of the guide you posted?
