Thank you so much for sharing! :)
Do you have any updates since this version that you have shared? Specifically, config.plist and SSDT? I would love to try your configuration on my ProBook 4540S, and then install Big Sur! :D

I couldn't get StefanAM's EFI.zip to work on my ProBook 4540S (Ivy Bridge Core i5), but I found this on GitHub. And it works! :) Hope this helps!

This is an OС adapted version from rehabman (Clover).
Not modern solutions.
Lots of patches. Some kexts not needed.
Not "vanilla"variant ))
Try from my link.

Tried the link, used the Installer to generate a working EFI. Booted it up, and realized the generated EFI folder was bad for ProBook 4540s:

1. On boot up, the console filled with artifacts and I could not read any of the output, because it used "Max" resolution.

2. So I set resolution to 1024x768, and managed to read the console messages on boot up. It was full of ACPI errors. Symbols were missing.

3. Booted into Big Sur 11.3.1, the LCD panel was incorrectly detected as an external monitor, and there was no brightness control.

4. No battery status, or AC power status.

5. My i5 CPU incorrectly detected as i7.

I'm not sure about being pure / vanilla is key especially when things don't work.

I adapted and modified it for myself.
It's the only way to understand what you're doing and what you're doing it for.
Write to the developer on githab.

It is better to make a DSDT for your device yourself.

And by the way, I tried a variant from rehabman. The one you posted.
There are more than 150 errors in the log.
This is no good.

I have it in my EFI folder:
ACPI - 2 files.
Kext - 7 files.
There are no patches in the ACPI section, except Trim.

Hi, I used your EFI to boot my hackintosh. when I boot my notebook monitor it is on a gray screen. And to solve this I connected it to an external monitor and it worked but I wanted to know how to solve this strap screen on the notebook monitor

I've installed two times.
- Clean installation
- Update from Catalina
Everything works. But slowly.

Not all the software you need works with the BS.
After a month of experiments I had to go back to Catalina.
Hey bro, I have the same Laptop ( Lenovo z580) would you possibly be so kind to help me out? I would like to install Catalina but I just can't get it to run =(

could you provide me the files? =)
