Hello,

Yesterday I installed MacOS BigSur 11.04 on my HP laptop, I used the same EFI folder which I had used for Catalina 10.15.3 , the only thing that is not working properly is the battery percentage does not update after boot. But on Catalina everything worked fine I didn't need any DSDT patch.

Also,if I cannot the adapter it directly shows 100% charged battery please help me guys.

I am also attaching my EFI zip. Please have a look.

My Laptop Specifications:

Laptop Model :- HP Pavillion 15-bc008tx

Processor :- Intel Core i7 6700 HQ (Skylake)

Ram :- 16gb DDR4

Motherboard :- HP (820D)

Graphics :- 1) Intel(R) HD Graphics 530(BIOS Device Name = \_SB.PCI0.GFX0)

2) Nvidia GTX 960m

MacOS : Catalina 10.15.3 using OpenCore bootloader

you may need to experiment with abm_firstpolldelay=64000

you may need to experiment with abm_firstpolldelay=64000
Actually I use abm_firstpolldelay=64000 but still the battery meter does not update it shows full charged after the boot.

Feartech please help me in this. It is the only feature not working otherwise it is fully activated mackintosh.

yes, i know you are already using it hence my comment that you may need to experiment with it using different values

Are these Config.plist and the kexts better than before or the older one's were good

No.

And I also tried abm_firstpolldelay values like 8000,16000,32000,64000,80000

None of them helped

have you tried without the boot argument?

dont forget to reset nvram after every config.plist change
