X299 Big Sur Support

It just requires LogoutHook which goes inside of the user folder. I haven't done it myself because my boards always had NVRAM support, but did you read the Dortania link?
I did. Many times

issue comes when you’re installing a new one. It makes modification to the nvram and store data in there and reboot

This emulated nvram is okay if you’re only dealing with a single volume. When you have multiple disks and multiple apfs volumes, it’s not. Because the script to store the nvram to disk isn’t run.

I never had issue with the nvram before OC. Whenever you ask they just dismiss as “nvram not supported”. But that’s not the case. Nvram doesn’t work with OC for some reasons, but my board supports nvram just fine normally.

I appreciate your shares. I have the ASUS X299-Deluxe I with i7-7820X and RX 5700XT, and everything works fine except the instant wake-up after sleep. When I replace your EFI with mine, the sleep is fixed, but Bluetooth is not working. I had changed USB.kert. and Bluetooth works but instant wakeup again. Therefore, I have to choose to use Bluetooth or sleep. I really want to fix it.
Big Sur 11.2 on OpenCore 0.6.6

Note: HideAuxiliary is enabled so you will only see OS partitions and not all. Set it to NO if you want to see all partitions. Also you can hit spacebar in the OpenCore boot menu to show all partitions temporarily.

Note 2: My previous EFI was incorrectly named it was 0.6.5, please use this one.

Hey guys, I've run into a weird issue... I updated to the last version of OpenCore (0.6.6), and now only 6 cores (12 threads) are showing up in the CPU description and in the Activity Monitor.

I have a i9-9900X which has 10 cores and 20 threads... anyone knows why this might be happening ?

Hey gang! I am finally going to give Big Sur a spin (on a clone drive, of course).

I am cruising on 10.15.7 with OC 0.6.6 with updated kexts.

Just curious if there is anything I need to change/update in my EFI or be mindful of when updating from 10.15.7?

Thank you!

If you're on OC 0.6.6 you should be good.
Depending on which BIOS you have, make sure you either have SSDT-RTC0.aml or SSDT-RTC0-NOAWAC.aml and the ASMedia.kext

This appears to have fixed the problem - thanks for taking the time to let me know about it.
Oh geez, now the machine locks up slowly over time after I take a Zoom call. I think it’s the use of the USB webcam
