Hello!

I'm building my first hackintosh.

CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro
GPU: GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 256Bit DVI HDMI
Hard Drive: Samsung (MZ-V7E500BW) 970 EVO SSD 500GB
Memory: Crucial Ballistix 2666 MHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Gaming Memory Kit 32GB (16GBx2) CL16 BL2K16G26C16U4R

I've got Clover booting from the USB drive, but I can't get OS X to boot.

I've tried replacing VBoxHfs-64.efi with HFSPlus.efi as well as AptioMemoryFix, OsxAptioFixDrv, OsxAptioFix2Drv, and OsxAptioFix3Drv. I've tried slide=0, UseKernelCache=no, and nv_disable=1.

Right now I'm stuck here:

Here is my config.plist:

Possible next steps:
1. wipe the Clover USB drive (I initially set it up as a BIOS booter, and maybe some element of that remains)
2. shut off graphics card via the BIOS
3. unplug the graphics card
4. try a USB2 hub, as it doesn't appear I have USB2 ports

Any other ideas are welcome!

try different memory fixes
OsxAptioFix2Drv, OsxAptioFix3Drv or AptioMemoryFix.efi

@Feartech I've also tried replacing VBoxHfs-64.efi with HFSPlus.efi, which apparently sometimes helps with the +s, but that also hasn't worked.

I maybe haven't tried every combination of VBox/HFS and each Aptio—is that necessary?

I did change the memory from Profile1 to Disabled or something—should I go back and try each of the Aptios again?

Or would maybe removing one of the sticks of memory be a good approach?

make sure to only use:
OsxAptioFix2Drv, OsxAptioFix3Drv or AptioMemoryFix.efi
1 at a time

take verbose pictures of each one

I recommend using OpenCore, as it handles NVRAM better in z390
