Hmmm... I'm having this problem. I had resolved it via USB's EPI, which it will boot from. But with the find/replace method, it still gets the same error when trying to boot from the system drive even with the information added there, as well, triple-checked for accuracy. I heard clearing CMOS might help, but it didn't in my case. I'm currently booting again via USB to try to re-type the same info again. The USB stick takes upwards of 15 minutes to boot each time. :/

I realize the chance for help is minimal due to the fix seeming to help most (maybe all) others. But in case an answer is found by myself or anyone else, it might help someone else who has tried this, as well. Thanks for any possible help.

Adding to this - I am receiving the same error when trying to boot Mojave for the first time from clover. When I add the find/replace code, it gets hung up on "Start ReadKernelCache." When I remove it, it gets hung up on "apfs module start 1393." Has anyone solved this? Any help would be great. Thanks

Did you solved it ?

I did! I don't have my computer on me at the moment, so can't check the EFI to tell you for sure, but it was one of these two ACPI patches

Patch 1 : find : A00A9353 54415301 replace : A00A910A FF0BFFFF (this is the one from the Coffee Lake Intel.plist)
Patch 2 : find : A00A9353 54415301 replace : A00A9353 43535301 (a second option from @mattystonnie)

Try one, and if it doesn't work try the other, then both.

Also, after it got past that hang up, the iGPU would shut off, but it would still boot into clover (I just couldn't see it). Turns out I had to have two monitors hooked up, one HDMI and one DVI, and only then would the HDMI initiate. I could then unplug the DVI and it would stay on. "Inject Intel Graphics" would give me kernel panics, so I wound up needing the "Apple KBL Injector.kext", as well as these two patches in Clover/Devices/Properties:

framebuffer-con1-enable= 01000000
framebuffer-con1-type=00080000

Those fixed HDMI audio AND video. Hope that helps!

I had this messages for a couples of days...solve it mostly by making sure I was using the USB 2.0 port on my Gigabyte Z170, which seem close to your mobo.

Also there is that you should have in your config:
Patch 1 : find : A00A9353 54415301 replace : A00A910A FF0BFFFF (this is the one from the Coffee Lake Intel.plist)
Patch 2 : find : A00A9353 54415301 replace : A00A9353 43535301 (a second option from @mattystonnie)

Other than that, if you trying to boot with onboard graphics, maybe try with a GPU instead.
good luck!

I spotted something else in you picture screen, this look like a SMC error. Maybe remove the FakeSMC from kext/other of your boot drive USB.

There also a 'super IO' written, did you disabled it on the bios ?

Hey man thanks a lot for your reply, I've followed your suggestion I think it helped to boot further but now I get this error. And I'm not much aware of 'Super IO' I didn't disable any of it in bios...
hope we can deal with this...
thanks.
