pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Hi Pastrychef, does EFI Clover r5107 Z390G (Catalina).zip work with Z370-G (Mojave) like EFI Unified r5.1.7 (Catalina).zip did before?

There is Security Update 2020-002 10.14.6 and I probably need to update EFI before applying this update.

I haven't tested Mojave, but I think it should work fine.

Party can you confirm this works? Then I will remove WEG too. ... Do we still need LILU then?

I didn't try yet.

Lilu is still needed even if you remove WhateverGreen.

I got around this be removing WhateverGreen. The only reason I had WhateverGreen in the first place was to enable all the video out ports on my video card and to enable HDMI/DisplayPort audio. I only have one monitor so, having just two video out ports working is not an issue for me and something in 10.15.4 has HDMI audio working anyway.
I've also been getting kernel panics on wake from sleep under 10.15.4, but with my iGPU, boot will fail without WhateverGreen (some error about gfx firmware). So I disabled HDMI audio altogether (since I don't need it) by editing the BIOS with RU.efi and that seems to have fixed it (I followed this guide).

I had reported a similar (same?) issue when Catalina was first released and vit9696 had provided a kernel patch workaround then, which doesn't seem to work anymore (at least not in my case).

Hi,

Having FCPX crash on launch issue. What platform ID do you use for your Z390 and Vega build?

On my Z390, I use iMacPro1,1.

Ah. That's very different from not posting...

Please launch Hackintool and click on the "Power" tab. Is Power Nap enabled (1=enabled)? is Proximity Wake enabled?
If yes to either, please try disabling them.
To disable ProximityWake, please enter the following in Terminal:
Code:
pmset -a proximitywake 0
To disable Power Nap, just go to System Preferences > Energy Saver and disable it from there.

Pastry...

I upgraded both of my hacks to 10.15.4 after installing new kexts and Clover 5107. Sleep works fine on my ROG STRIX Z370-G Gaming (wi-fi ac) but not on my ASRock Z370M-ITX/ac. On the ITX the computer does indeed wake but the screen does not unless I either power it off and back on, or unplug and replug the HDMI cord.
Ideas?

Also, I thought I read recently that you were wondering whether Acronis still works. I have version 2020 and it does.

thx

Does anyone else use "Unlock with Apple Watch"? Mine has stopped working :(

Are you able to VNC in to the ITX system?

Please post the EFI from the ITX system.
