UniBeast version: 9.0.2

UniBeast choices: USB, Mojave, Legacy Mode, no video inject

USB partition scheme, GPT or MBR and size of the destination partition: GPT 32GB drive, 209.7 EFI partition, 31.7GB USB partition
Tried using sudo diskutil partitionDisk /dev/disk9 GPT JHFS+ USB R to partition the disk, no difference.

System specifics where UniBeast was run including hardware configuration and macOS version: OSX 10.13.6, Mac Pro (Mid 2010), 24GB memory - this is the system in my hardware detail

Error message: There was an error creating your UniBeast drive: Copy of apfs.efi failed.

Contents of UniBeast.log:
09/24/19 21:24:22 - Starting UniBeast 9.2.0-6
09/24/19 21:24:59 - Copying Files...
09/24/19 21:34:48 - Installing Clover Bootloader...
09/24/19 21:35:00 - Copying apfs.efi for Legacy Boot Mode...
09/24/19 21:35:01 - Copy of apfs.efi failed.

Contents of install.log:
I can't find any entry for "Product archive /Applications/UniBeast.app/Contents/Resources/Clover" and don't see any obvious errors in the log.

EDIT: The solution that worked for me was to delete the install App from my system and download a fresh copy from the App store. Using that fresh copy, Unibeast ran without error. I am assuming that either the copy I had was older and incompatible with Unibeast or was corrupted in some way.

Is the installer open or in a standby mode? The macOS installer use be in applications folder, and quit or off during unibeast installer mode.

The Mojave installer is in the application folder, it is not running when I try to use Unibeast. After the first time I got the error, I rebooted the machine as a 'just in case' preventative measure. I have successfully created several of the UniBeast bootable volumes in the past, this is the first time I have run in to a problem.

Can't use it today (nVidia graphics still), but I wanted to get a Mojave bootable install before Catalina comes out.

It appears that clover configurator app is closed (hit the red tab) but it is not quit. Check with force quit to make sure macOS installer is quit.

Sorry, still not following you. Neither macOS installer nor clover configurator are running. I am running UniBeast to create the install disk for Mojave. The only things running at the time the error occurs is Unibeast and a few misc utility apps (Amphetamine, Moom, Path Finder, Finder).

See item 19

Thanks, but per my original post above item 19 made no difference.

Digging through other posts with the same issue. It was noted that the EFI partition can’t be mounted during creation or it causes this issue, and noticed that the EFI partition is automatically mounting once it is created. If that is the issue, has anyone got a solution to prevent the partition from mounting?

Use disk utility click on the usb and hit Unmount tab.

There is not physically enough time to unmount it from the time it appears and the time the error occurs. The EFI partition is mounted, followed immediately by the error.
