The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

I have no idea what your specific problem is, but I've just spent a few days staring at a computer that wouldn't boot. To get some idea of what is going on, you can boot in verbose mode to see the console output instead of the Apple progress bar. Add the -v boot flag to do this. See this post for instructions on how to do it.
I tried this -v boot flag to do, but I still cant find the problem. Because the booting is too quick I wasnt able to see the code and it reboot by itself again. anyway i can slow it down n read the code on screen?

Try entering the clover boot menu and checking "Keep symbols on panic" and "Don't reboot on panic" along with the 'Verbose" setting. Hopefully it won't reboot and you will be able to read the screen

Finally got continuity to work, and, honestly, I can't say what fixed it. I had given up and just wanted to upgrade to the latest Mojave and also iMac model. So before doing that, I upgraded Clover boot to 5058 (maybe what @ModMike has now as 'beta', ugh, with the new folder structure). I had all kext updated to the latest, but today had to also update USBInjectAll to 0.7.3 to recognize the model iMac 19,2. Finally, Mojave 10.14.6! So one of those things for continuity to work, as a reminder I have a similar conf from the first post except the wifi/BT card, so a Z390-I Gaming, i7-9700k, 580 Pulse, and a 1820A WIFI/BT (model OVW3T3 <- important to have that one, it's available on Amazon), which I replaced on the board following this post instruction. Thank you, @ModMike, for sharing your build.

Where can I set this in boot menu or I have to click “don’t reboot on panic” when I install my macOS ?

Same place as entering verbose which you apparently did before...boot the machine, wait for the clover boot screen to load, then tap the space bar and the boot options screen appears. There are several to choose from, check the three. mention then scroll back the top of the menu and boot with selected options.

Hi,

Thanks for all the info.
Being fed up with Apples expensive routines, I decided to dive in to Hackiontosh. This is my first build.

I purchased a lot of hardware according to your list. I am rocking:

• Asus ROG STRIX Z390-I GAMING moederbord socket 1151
• Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB M.2 SSD
• Sapphire Radeon RX 580 Pulse 8GB
• Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro 2x16GB 3200
• Intel Core i5 8600 processor

I haven't had much succes yet with my installation.
I can get to the Clover menu, start my installation from the USB, but after I reach '2 minutes remaining'
the system resets. Not sure if this is normal, I've read contradictory things about this.

So, after the reset, I can now choose between booting from the USB or from HDD. Both have the same
result: another reset.

So I guess determing where the problem is is the next goal for me, and hopefully with your help...

The Radeon RX is a DGPU, isn't it?
I loaded your EFI for DGPU onto the USB.

However, when I change these settings in my BIOS:

Primary Display > PEG
IGPU Multi-Monitor > Enabled for DGPU

There is no signal going through my HDMI screen... So I left Primary Display to Auto.

If there is someone who can point me in the right direction I'd be very happy.

Cheers,
Rens

You have a DGPU build as your signature indicates. You probably have enabled intel IGPU without correct headless platform ID. If you disable intel IGPU in bios it probably works, but I recommend you keep it enabled and configure your IGPU in headless mode as is explained in this guide for Quick Sync support. You also can use my CLOVER EFI attached in this post.

Hi! Thank you for your kind response. I copied your EFI and worked very well. I noticed that the RAM is at 16GB so I set it to 32GB. The problem now is that my RAM seems did not change in terms of free RAM. When 16GB is only recognized, 3GB of RAM is used. When I changed it to 32GB RAM, the wired memory is consuming 18GB of RAM... I'm a bit confused now and wonders if I wasted money for additional RAM..

Any chance you know how to fix this? I was searching the Internet and seems nobody fixed the issue.

Did you update the firmware on your Samsung EVO Plus drive? If not, that can be the issue. Booting with the -v (verbose) flag can also help determine why you can’t reach the Apple install menu

@Monkey303 Rather than take shots in the dark, I would like to suggest you install the following kexts in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other. Install the HWMonitorSMV2 in the applications folder and reboot.

Open the app and start monitoring the GPUs and RAM to see if you can correlate issues with VRAM.

If anybody else wants to try it, it's an awesome little program, just wish fans worked.

Hi! Just want to know if you had any issues with RAM? At the moment I'm having more than 50% of wired memory usage.
