The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

Sadly outdated
Important: It should be noted that as of July 2019 all of the above plug-in's are depreciated and are no longer supported. Use of them in conjunction with WhatEverGreen or the current version of Lilu could result in Kernel Panics or abnormal MacOS behaviour.
However same pages ago I post a up to date link to get quick sync working
@jaymonkey is referring to these plugins:
which are depreciated from July 2019 because they are now integrated in WhatEverGreen.

The guide is not outdated and everything he explains is working as expected.

Is it safe to do the 10.14.6 update or does it break everything? Thanks!
@Monkey303

Everything is working correctly after updating my system to macOS 10.14.6. The only thing which causes an issue, is using FakeSMC with fan/onboard readings based on this method.

Perfect, thanks. Seems to have gone well, lost my keyboard but it just needed reconnecting and all seems to be OK. :thumbup:

Thanks everyone for your support. I was able to successfully build and install macOS. I have a problem with WiFi not showing up. It lists in the hardware but no where else. I am not able to enable the service as well. If anyone got it working, what was the fix for WiFi?

What card is installed, if you are trying to use the included Intel card it will not work, it's not supported.

The “End Randomseed” halt means something is missing from your EFI folder on your boot drive, it could be a driver, a kext or too old a version of clover. I know that shouldn’t be possible if you followed the guide and you have the same hardware but please double check. Either that or you have missed a setting in the bios, like secure boot “enabled”. Just saying that is what’s usually the causes. Good luck!
I have fixed the issue. The issue for me is the RAM. I purchased Corsair Vengeance 32GB*2, seems the RAM has some problem with system.

Not sure if this is caused by 32GB*2 (cap) or the brand. Will test more.

One thing I notice is Final Cut Pro crashes immediately when launch, the crash log:

Application Specific Information:
/Applications/Final Cut Pro.app/Contents/MacOS/../Frameworks/ProGraphics.framework/Versions/A/ProGraphics
abort() called

Not sure if any one has any experience around this.

I am using RX 580.

Do you have the iGPU enabled? If so, try disabling it in the BIOS and see if Final Cut doesn't crash. If it works, you just need to fix your implementation of the IGPU - either keep it disabled or (if you want QuickSync) enable it in headless mode.

Thanks! After I disable iGPU, I can use Final Cut Pro now. For enable iGPU in headless, I don't see any thread about it in 10.14.6. Any idea where I can find one? Thanks
