The everything works Asus Z390-I Gaming * i7-8700K * SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX Vega 64 Build

I am still facing a problem with my build. Mojave sleeps and wakes up perfect for short time. But with more time for example 10-15 minutes the computer restart when I wake it up. I am using IGPU and the EFI folder as described by @ModMike

For Bluetooth try:

Install to /Library/Extensions/ with KextBeast:
  • BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext
  • BrcmPatchRAM2.kext
change config.plist to:
  • CsrActiveConfig 0x3 (partial disable SIP) or 0x67 (completely disable SIP)

Didn't work. Only work if place files in EFI/...../kexts/others

@jossydeleon according to the guide for Broadcom written by @toleda, which I linked in an earlier post one page back, you can try removing BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and replace it with the attached. Its worth a try, I know it works for me on a couple of other machines I have.

+1 For the "Everything Works" build. Just finished using as a guide to get my new Asus Z390-I/9900K/RX580/32GB system (iMac19,1 SMBIOS) up and running.

I migrated everything over from my 3 year old 6700k build to a fresh NVMe disk, and then used ModMikes EFI setup as a base EFI setup.

The only issues that I have had was Dell 1560 BT/Wifi card that I ordered from the Amazon link in first post (a bit expensive IMO), and WiFi worked but no Bluetooth. Installed Windows as well after scanning through the posts here and still no luck.

Swapped that card out with the similar Lenovo card that I ordered from Ebay for ~$18 and it immediately worked in macOS. Before I put the system, which is now just sitting on the test bench awaiting its new case to arrive (Ncase M1), I'm going to try to swap back to that Dell card to give it one last try before trying to return it.

Spoke too soon... Bluetooth disappeared after powering off the machine for a while.

Doesn’t show up in USB in system profiler, nor does Windows detect it. Wifi continues to work. Weird as no other changes were made from when it did work.

Is the card seated properly, bitch to check... :banghead:
See post 1704 above, its worked for me before a few times although I never tried it in this configuration. Being its a stand alone card it should work and worth a shot. Remove the two Bluetooth kexts from the guide and replace it with with Brcmpatchram.kext. See the link for justification, Rehabman and Toleda collaboration if you will.

At this point since everything is just laying on the bench I'm going to recheck the card begin seated fully. Never feels like a very solid connection after placing the card in its little RF case and screwing down through the motherboard.

I'm going to take it apart tonight and leave the large shroud and backplate off and do some testing.

Other than that, I mainly see posts referring to USB configuration, but seeing that it *did* work, seems odd.
