you have a DSDT, if this has a brightness patch on it, then that will cause you issues and will stop the brightness from working
best to re extract fresh new one and do the patches you need but do not patch for brightness fix
GFX0 to IGP is not needed as rename is done via config.plistSo i got the DSDT and SSDT files by F4 in Clover boot menu. Extracted them with iasl and refs.txt. Then applied GFX0 to IGP and Samsung 3 Series Battery patch. Then saved as DSDT.aml. I put the file to AHCI/Patched and on top of Sorted Order in config.plist but nothing changed. I also tried to boot without DSDT and no luck...
Btw i'm using my old config which is in the first post in order to make the display work. Couldn't make it work with the edited config.
Max brightness still very low. controls are working.
I checked the DSDT and SSDTs for ambient light sensor but there is no entry for that. Also my laptop doesn't have an ambient light sensor.GFX0 to IGP is not needed as rename is done via config.plist
maybe you need to check the Ambient Light Sensor section
