  • About Graphics, I knew from your listed Hardware including the 2 Nvidia Graphics that are NOT Supported with Nvidia Web-drivers for Mojave; but they both have Nvidia Web-drivers for macOS High Sierra upto final version 10.13.6
  • I checked the BIOS for other problems which I have annotated on uploaded edited images, should you decide to get a Mojave- Supported PCIE Graphics card(most current AMD Radeon, a few selected older Radeons and some Older Nvidia GTX and GT cards)

  • Not a dumb question. Check previous answer to question #2.
Although I have no system with 2 PCIE Cards (I had no need to use 2 cards; too poor to afford even to test! ) I expect you can have both for macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 and Windows 10 Dual boot using CLOVER as common boot loader for a "dual- boot dual-disk" system .

I don't know all other devices you have. But for the listed hardware, you are good to go.
Ok so I’ve got it to halfway boot through High Sierra.

It stops at HID: Legacy shim 2 [See attached pic]

I’ve tried googling this but it seems that there’s a variety of things that could be wrong. Do you have any better answers?

Thanks
DTM

Can't see the uploaded Verbose boot screen.

Hmm, odd... it’s showing as uploaded. Let me try again.
Now I can see 2 verbose boot screen images . Let me analyze and comment. Please wait.

Well....decided to try USB 2.0 instead of 3.0 and it works!!!!

You can still check the boot screens but Id hate to waste your time!

I will keep posting back until the Drivers are complete and stable.

Thank you again for all your help.

It did not show any specific error.
Is your USB Disk's LED light still blinking showing active file transfer? How is the HDD LED?
One area seemed to show a Problem with USB port file transfer but later on it showed that was not the case. If the verbose boot become garbled that can be USB port problem especially if you see a Prohibit Entry sign

sorry I cross-posted without seeing your further post. Good you changed the USB port.
Good luck.

No problem at all.

So I managed to get High Sierra in stalled and seems to be pretty stable. (See attached photos)

I have a few more questions if I may...

1. Looks like its not displaying the full name of my CPU...any ideas on how to fix that?

2. Also on my RAM...I have 2 sticks of 16gb @ 3200Mhz (at least that's what its set to on the motherboard) - How do I fix that?

3. I believe I misunderstood when @Bradamante said this...
I don't think a GTX 950 + RTX 2080 Ti dual boot setup makes much sense. You can get this hardware running on their respective systems (High Sierra with NVidia web drivers and Windows driver)

I have the latest NVidia Web Driver for High Sierra (See Photo) and it doesn't seem to support my card. - Is there any other kexts or patches that I can apply to have macOS recognize it?

If not then I would like to use my GTX 950 for now till NVIDIA releases drivers for it. (If not I'll get a Vega 64 in the future). - Would I be able to have both both GPUs in my computer and only use the GTX 950 for macOS & the 2080Ti for Windows10?

4. The last question that I have...now that I have it installed on the USB, is there anyway to have clover run off the same HDD so that I wont need to use the USB?

Thank you again for taking the time to read my rather lengthy questions. Much appreciated.

High Sierra is off-topic - This is a Mojave Desktop Support thread.

I understand, please read up the previous posts. I started with Mojave. Then was informed that Mojave won’t work so I would need to install High Sierra.
  • With the available Nvidia Graphics you have listed, and lack of Intel HD graphics from your CPU, your Hardware is not ready for Mojave.
  • It can run macOSHigh Sierra
  • I have edited the uploaded 'slightly crooked' BIOS screen shots (I think taken with a Camera instead of Automatic Capture of BIOS screens on to a FAT32 Formatted USB Disk using F-12 Key in BIOS Setup screen-> #33 )

If there’s anyway for me to move this thread to it’s proper category, by all means let me know.
