  • Asked for CLOVER folder and you have uploaded config.plist only!
  • config.plist has to depend on the contents of CLOVER/drivers64UEFI and /CLOVER/kexts/Other along with BIOS to boot the Disk.
  • Assuming your CLOVER folder in all other respects are identical to the one when you are successfully booting with just the SMBIOS Model of iMac 14, 2, and no BIOS Changes have occurred, I suggest a trial of the following from Clover Boot Manager:
    • Scroll to Options>GraphicsInjector-> *-platform-id : 0x19120003
    • Return to CBM screen
  • Boot in verbose and upload any problem screen
  • For proper problem solving, BIOS Options and CLOVER are needed to correlate with Verbose boot screen.

I will try that tonight, for 0x19120003, do you mean I should try it with iMac18,3 SMBIOS?

  • Yes, that's the one with issue, Right?
  • You did not even say why you wanted to change SMBIOS to iMac 18,3 when you had a working system with iMac 14,2.
  • If the problem was only from Graphics ig-p-id, I wanted you to test it without making any changes to your CLOVER or BIOS by doing a TEMPORARY fix through CLOVER >Options in CBM screen.

OK Got it,

I will let you know the result soon.

Scroll to Options>GraphicsInjector-> *-platform-id : 0x19120003 <- just tested it, I could boot up with iMac18,3 SMBIOS but I loss graphics acceleration, attached bootlog zip file

@lkthomas
First of all, you're trying to use a "wrong" SMBIOS. iMac18,3 has a dedicated GPU. From your description, your system only has iGPU.
The most appropriate SMBIOS for your machine would be iMac18,1 which uses iGPU only.

And use 0x59120000 as ig-platform-id.
