I'm having issues getting the sleep & lid/sleep function to work. I've installed applebacklightfix kext but no luck.

When I close the lid it does nothing. When I manually enable sleep, the screen turns off, then about 1 minute later it comes on but the screen stays black.

Thanks for that. I've extracted .aml files to .dsl files as per guide. I've looked for _PRW to patch and I've found it in SSDT-3-ACRPRDCT.dsl The question is that in the sub folders of PEG0, PEG1 etc there are numerous _PRW entries. Which one of these am I to patch or does the patch patch them all at the same time? SSDT file attached for reference.

The _PRW patch is typically applied to DSDT, not SSDTs.

Ok thanks. I've applied the patch USB_PRW 0x6D (instant wake) but when I click on compile I get the following errors.

Picture attached as well as DSDT

Thanks, I've now managed to patch DSDT correctly but still the no sleep upon closing the lid or enabling sleep manually works.

I've looked at my DSDT and I did need USB_PRW 0x6D to be patch to the file. IOREG included in debug zip.
AppleLPC is loading according to IOREG.

You will need to describe your sleep issue in detail.
Your text above is confusing: "the no sleep upon closing the lid or enabling sleep manually works".
