No sound yet ...

Just some advice from friend to friend.. Upon official request I have been told that we cannot touch this topic here in this forum primarily to public beta releases, as it is at odd with the forum rules.. See also https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...14-mojave-at-wwdc-available-fall-2018.253512/

I therefore published my first results elsewhere .....

Sound and everything else seems working, Nvidia drivers don't...

With this I would rather close this topic here for now .. ;)

Cheers,

However, I am against the splitting of the SSDT into a dozen of SUB-SSDTs
There are no sub-SSDTs. It's common practice, so Apple also comes with different SSDTs. Likewise the own SSDTs of ASUS. Of course you do not have to create an extra SSDT for every device. One basic SSDT, one each for Nvidia and AMD. One for Thunderbolt. For example …

We now have one SSDT for TB and one for the rest. There is a Nvidia module implemented in the main SSDT. And there is your Vega module in the text, which can replace the Nvidia module in the main SSDT at any time ( just copy and paste)..

I don't understand the reason for the entire discussion. But if you prefer, we can drop the Nvidia module in the main SSDT and make a separate SSDT out of it, which then joins the separate Vega SSDT you are talking about...

Do you really think this would facilitate the entire story and make things easier to understand?

In my opinion, it would mainly produce additional work with the same result.

I do not want a palace revolution. :)
It's just my opinion, I have it that way on my system. All is well. :)

No problem, man ... I don't see any palace revolution at this place... :)

I am open and thankful for all your implementations, contributions, suggestions and ideas...

Only in this particular case I do not see much difference between how everything is implemented at present and what you suggest for the future.. That's all

You and me anyway know what we do.. other's apparently don't.

BTW.. it was simply amazing to suddenly see this amazing desert and massive dune after the successful installation.

Really nice Desktop Background this time.. :)

@kgp - you misunderstand my intention. I also am not interested in any kind of revolution.

However, the tutorial was flawed, I was supplied a solution and wanted to make it available to others in a way that was easy to access. It was a breakdown into a few different SSDT's to make the inclusion of different periperals a bit easier as you yguys seem to answer the same questions frequently about it, like my questions :) Version control is more or less essential in a project like this as we progress through different updates. It is in no way an attempt to grab control. I'm aware I didn't attribute the source as I didn't get round to it, was going to to correct that this morning anyway but hey.

I've shut it down but not as I consider what I was doing unhelpful or in anyway immoral, I was merely attempting to help the community here. I'm not interested in a public flamewar :) I'd also like to remain friends. :D

Well @morh, please let me know where are the flaws in my tutorial and I will correct them. o.k.? I guess the rest already has been discussed above.

Cheers man and thanks in advance,

KGP
