- So my goal for this project was to mac a Customac that was a small form factor (fit onto bookcase). I wanted it to be more than powerful for general office type work and be not very costly. This MOBO is by far cheaper than any of the mini-ITX boards available on the buyer's guide, almost 1/2 the price. Was also hoping for FULL functionality as a mac including handoffs, continuity, airdrop...
- Ran through a few snags during the intallation of High Sierra, but Mojave has been perfect.
- This machine would not boot without OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi (https://nickwoodhams.com/x99-hackintosh-osxaptiofixdrv-allocaterelocblock-error-update/). Neither OsxAptioFix2Drv or OsxAptioFixDrv or OsxLowMemFixDrv would allow me to boot. So thanks to nick for making that driver.
- I originally had issues booting at all even with the above driver. But was able to fix using help from this thread.
What is Working?

What is Working?
- Intel HD 630 - Yes. This if fully functional with graphic acceleration using WhateverGreen.kext + lilu.kext. Using HDMI monitor, cannot comment on DVI
- Onboard Ethernet - Working with Realtek drivers RealtekRTL811.kext from downloads tab.
- Onboard Realtek Audio - Is fully working with lilu.kext + AppleALC.kext. Front panel working too.
- HDMI Audio - Fully functional with WhateverGreen.kext. Currently using this with lilu.kext + AppleALC.kext
- USB 3.1 Ports - Working. I only have tested with 3.0 device.
- USB 2.0 Ports - Works. Did have to check FixOwnership in config.plist/devices/USB in order to boot
- USB Headers - Appears to all be working
- Onboard Wifi/BT - I finally found adapter that would allow me to use M.2 adapter, will get back you on the functioning of this.
- iMessage/Facetime - Set up using idiots guide to imessage
- Sleep - Nope. Only using iGPU therefore not possible with my build
