I have no Thunderbolt card, I only use DP,and I only use Mac OS 10.13.3 it can be work great with Final Cut Pro 10.4.2.and the QuickTime Player can building a new recording

I do not know if it can affect this.... I would eliminate it if I do not use it.

I use RX580 in 10.13.4 and updated to 10.13.4 SU with 0 problems and graphic card work OOB , no work for me audio for dp/hdmi , in benchmark with WhateverGreen.kext v1.1.7 it's lower and without him rises.

Maybe it could be the drivers that need an update. Everything else works perfectly.

Just a heads up. A later and better maintained DP monitor control program can be sourced here.... I'm a fan and it works flawlessly with my LG ultra wide.

I no use WhateverGreen.kext , in fact I installed without it and the graphics worked perfectly without it at all times.
I tried version 1.1.7but I did not change more than this difference and I lost performance.
See photos , driver load = yes but audio for hdmi/dp not work..... benchs without WhateverGreen.kext

@Rept about the instructions avx

I use sync all cores in 43 (turbo 2.0 of intel) and avx/avx512 stock frequencies no OC.
the instructions avx / avx512 have to be less than the speed of the total cpu, in case of i9 7900x turbo core 2.0 max all cores to 4300mhz and avx=4000mhz / avx512=4000mhz
In 7820x sync all cores x43 = 4300mhz, I think it was avx 3800mhz, avx512 3600mhz

you know putting it in the bios all in automatic, in the top part of aitweaker you will see the results in yellow.

If you set sync all cores to 43 for the 4300mhz everything will rise to 4300, you must lower the frequencies for those instructions, for each number that pogas will be subtracted 100mhz, 1 = 100mhz, 5 = 500mhz, etc.
You see how it changes up in yellow antler that is of stock without OC

I think it was avx = 5 and avx512 = 7 , but check it in the BIOS by putting everything in auto and then correct it if you use sync all cores.

Turbo 3 only effect to one or two cores in some application. If you try to upload the mhz of the cpu it will be overclocked and possibly not stable.

Put the attached kexts in EFI/Clover/Kext/Other
Put the attached config.plist
And try if it mach

This is from a config.plist of one of my older EFI-Folder distributions. The TB arbitrary entries have been removed in my latest EFI-Folder distribution.

@ffltt, my friend! Please update your EFI-Folder. You do not use TB in any case, thus the abitrary entry was never needed in your case.
