How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

This is not related directly to 10.13.4. I have been getting these for 3 years on two different hackintoshes with 3 different nvidia GPUs. People using real MacPro 5.1 with nvidia GPUs have been getting these as well. It appears to be some kind of bug within drivers, but nvidia is pointing at apple and apple at nvidia. If you google you can find that crashes like this dates back at least to 2012. Apparently not that may users are experiencing these. It can go weeks without getting any and then you can get 5 in day. Mostly happens while using or after using GPU intensive apps like Davinci Resolve.
So I have given up on finding solution for this. Maybe gona switch to Vega one day.

Yeah, I had this problem with the same 980ti on an x79 system under various MacOS versions, and the same problem with a 670. If someone can confirm they have all four monitors working on a Vega 64 I'll start figuring out how to pay for one.

Does anyone have the kernel panic randomly ?
I have the exact same components as in the guide! But my computer freezes and i have to manually reboot it.
Here is the report text that i get attached to this post! If anyone can help me out with this i would greatly appreciate it!!

Thank you !

Thank you for the suggestion. I think I prefer the X299-Deluxe with it's additional USB 3.1 gen 2 ports and WiFi slot. I do like the X299-A's slot layout more, though that's negated with the need to use one of those slots for a WiFi card. Any other reason you're recommending the X299-A over the X299-Deluxe? I'm not too worried about the price. It's about a $200 difference without buying the TB3 card, so either $50-$150 difference after buying that.

No other reasons for my recommendation. I don't use TB, so the Prime A was a bit more of an obvious choice for me.

I admit I haven't tracked updates/changes to wifi closely but I was under the impression the built-in wifi wasn't recognized by macOS and it was for this reason most people added a wifi/bluetooth pci card. I use Continuity features like Handoff and Airdrop frequently, so having this compatibility was important for me.

Keep us posted on your build!

Thanks for the advice, I upped it to 7 but still no go OS crashes as soon as I render full res
I tried every driver/cuda combo possible this is driving me nuts been trying to get it right for weeks.
I can't seem to nail the problem down. Could it be driver related is any one experiencing this issue ?
So annoying as everything else is working fine. I hate having to work in windoz really not as fast.

Hmm, did you try limiting the resources that AE gets? Like limit the cores and ram to 1 for with just a few GB of ram, see if it crashes, if it doesn't, keep adding resources until it starts crashing. What source resolution are you trying to work with? Does it work fine with HD as apposed to 4K or 6K?

Yes. I have had this issue since I moved from iMac 17 smbios to iMac Pro. I have found that increasing the AVX negative offset fixed most of my KP. I have it set to 5 currently and it crashes very rarely. Only in Pro apps (resolve, premiere, media encoder). Right now its one crash every few days. Before adjusting offset I couldn't play music and use resolve at the same time without it crashing. Back then, it would crash randomly in pro apps every hr to 2hrs.

I am using stock clock settings.

Computer configuration: Gigabyte x299 ud4, BIOS F6d, Nvidia 1060, SSD 256GB, HDD 2TB, 16 GB Ram. Configured everything as written in this post . Hackintosh - stuck at the Apple logo screen. Please help.
