[Guide] Patching LAPTOP DSDT/SSDTs

@RehabMan , thank you for quick reply, I will apply your recommendation.
But I can't fix an error: PARSEOP_STORE, although ZERO error I can patch.
Could you help me to fix this error? Thank you.

You will need to attach files that represent your problem. No one here is clairvoyant.

Generic DSDT question. You say that any hardware change will do it. Does that mean adding ram will change it? How about swapping a dvd drive out of a laptop for a ssd? Just a couple upgrades I'm thinking of and I want to know whether to expect to have to redo everything or not. If I want to really check that things had changed could I do something like shasum on the original dsdt and the dsdt that I extract after the changes to be sure?

Actually, I wrote "may cause significant changes".

As per post #1, yes, it may (quite likely).

Changes to external peripherals not likely to change ACPI.

Best just to re-extract/re-patch when in doubt.
You can check the various OperationRegion addresses between extracted and patched if you want...
