Security Update 2018-001 for macOS Sierra 10.12.6 and OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

FYI I'm with internal graphics and I can boot by first booting into single user mode and then just typing "exit"...

I am running 10.12.6 and I also had a kernel panic never before experienced during a security update, this is what I did:

1. I was able to boot using Clover options to disable AppleALC.kext
2. Using KextBeast 2.0.1 updated AppleALC.kext 1.0.16 to version 1.2.2 from here: https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC/releases (thanks to sporkman from post #35)
3. Finally with MultiBeast 10.2 and choosing ALC887/888b I managed to have sound restored

After updating all kexts(lilu etc) I can now only boot in safe mode, or I get a kernel panic on something I can't quite find. See screengrab. Anyone know what this is referring too?

I'm having a kernel panic, but haven't been able to fix it as suggested. I have no option related to lilu in my Clover menu (see photo below).

I've tried booting without injected kexts and disabling other options, such as AppleALC, but the only thing that works is booting in safe mode. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to mount EFI in safe mode, whether with EFIMounter3 or Clover Configurator etc. Do I need to use another OS to mount EFI or is there another way around this?



NB. I couldn't get the exposure quite right, so you can't see that KASLR and PowerNap are checked (disabled) by default.

Update Lilu.kext and existing Lilu plugins to latest version.

However, now boot sticks at GIOScreenLockState 3... I believe this is related to graphics drivers?
I have an RX480. I've tried injecting and not injecting things, but no luck thus far.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

On Sierra I have only ssh access. I only managed to install Lilu.kext, but still no GUI, nor remote access.
Can clover be installed from command line?

L.E: This is interesting. I found out how to start remote desktop from command line (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201710), and after I started, the GUI appeared to my hackintosh as well.
