Restart, reply with new files

For Nvidia 10xx, see Post #1/Notes/Nvidia

Hey,

Thanks for your help, I have the onboard audio disabled since I have a dedicated PCIe Audio card.

I followed your steps, patched the DSDT, and put it along the ssdt that you linked in the patched folder of clover.

The script now says envidia Audio Enabled, but no luck with the sound yet.

Here is the new compressed file.

dsdt edit successful, ssdt working
Try dp2HDMI adapter

I'm currently using DP in both ends since i work in 1440p@144Hz.

Will try DP2HDMI anyway to test.

Okay. So I have very little experience with building hackintosh's, here's what I've done. I installed Sierra using unibeast, ran clover V2 to get my GPU working and put the following kexts into my other folder in my EFI:

Lilu
IntelMausiEthernet
AppleALC

and I've run the audio_cloverHDMI-130_v0.6 file, and it did appear to download something.

still no HDMI audio. are there settings I need to think about in configurator? are there kexts I need to install via kext wizard and what not? Also Inject Kext is set to yes in configurator if that helps.

I posted earlier on a z170-k w/hd530 audio. In order for sleep, it won't work. So tried an old amd hd4870. Has audio
but can it work though it looks like you don't support it? Or better to get the gtx 650 which you do?

Already spent 60$ for other system using gtx 650 for intel processor with supported intel hd4k, so should get nvidia out of it for the issue but just wondered if the hd 4870 somehow could be made to work.

Had it all these years and didn't even know it had audio on it

Yes, try cloverHDMI
Ok, I have tried it.. it says framebuffer injection and connector edits may be required.

Ive used inject amd and given it "kMotmot" in clover graphics section as frame buffer with this result

new update: changed to "Motmot" without the k in front and it loaded the framebuffer shown in dcpimanager
Funny thing was colored blocks showing up on this site page with that one with the k in front, it it was at all.
