I never changed anything from the installer of High Sierra Beta. The "About This Mac" overview states "iMac (27-inch, Late 2013). But the System Report, Hardware Overview states iMac14,2
the correct smbios should be imac18.3 for Z270..

Okay! Thanks! My rig seems to be working okay, except that I have to still configure the USB 3 and Get audio and native onboard video working. How do I change the definition to iMac18.3. Multibeast 9 won't work on High Sierra APFS?

Hey have folks gotten USB 3.0 and audio to function consistently?

If so how'd you do it? If not - any dead ends?
Hey Eightball8!

Latest Update!
Used High Sierra Guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.235474/

I mounted the EFI from the Installer USB & NVMe Partition with Clover Configurator, Copied the EFI folder from the installer and replaced it on the NVMe Partition, Copied the file “Sample ConfigPlist” Downloaded from TonyMac and placed it in the EFI/Clover Partition of NVMe.

Unmounted the USB Installer EFI.

Installed OSX!

Post Installation!

MULTIBEAST:

Drivers: Realtek ALC8xx, ALC1220
Drivers: Realtek ALC8xx, Optional 3 Port (5.1) Audio,
Customize: System Definitions, iMac, iMac 18,3

I have all the Audio working except that the (USB 3 ports), Native HDMI & DisplayPort are needing kexts to operate. I am still planning on correcting the USB 3, but have been holding off because I have USB 3 PCIe cards, until I’m ready! I don’t have Thunderbolt components to test.
