I have them starting at the beginning without LiluFriend.kext.
I no longer use Lilu for any patching, but when i did i had the bootloader injecting Lilu, Shiki and LiluFriend. Sounds like i could have installed to Library/Extensions with no ill effects.

Ok, ive took a good look at your config.
First of all you are using iMac14,2, im using iMac17,1

NvidiaWeb is disabled for you
Kext are injected
Complete opposite of mine.

Well... I really don't know what to say, should I try the iMac14,2 ? or even 18,3?
maybe that will do the trick?

I've been using 14,2 for almost 3 years now since El Capitan, never run into problems, dual monitors with this geforce and good compatibility with everything overall. Give it a try.

By the way I see you have XMPDetection=Yes
Can you tell me what it does?
I also set it to yes, and I do have XMP on my memory, and in bios I have XMPprofile 1
im not sure what that does though, as far as I understand its for making the memory run at its actual speed?

And ive set my SMBIOS to 18,3
its a lot more closer to my Skylake than your 14,2.
Also standard cpu speed listed for iMac 18,3 is 4.20, mine at maximum capacity is also 4.20

I don't know the answer to this question, it is the default value for my MultiBeast installation, maybe @vulgo or @RehabMan can answer this particular one.

Ok thanks anyway.
Ill try with SMBIOS for iMac 18,3 and report.

also a couple of things I changed were:
  • NvidiaWeb = False
  • Inject Kexts = Ture

SMBIOS 18,3 FAIL. :banghead:
whats worse is that I forgot to turn on -v to see the issue....

Any way... third attempt with 14,2 now...

@karea12 I completely forgot to ask... could you please take a screenshot of your /Library/Extensions folder?

* UPDATE

14,2 has also failed.
I am now pretty sure it has nothing to do with SMBIOS.

10.13 with out the update worked correctly with all the WebDrivers installed.
Some thing is just completely wrong with 10.13 (17A405)

Nothing works... absolutely nothing.
I think it does have some thing to do with the fact that suddenly the drivers are being installed into L/E and not S/L/E.

Here is a screenshot from my latest attempt.
maybe anyone can figure something out.

I use iMac14,2, and I don't need those other kexts which, I guess, are needed for the newer iMac System Definitions.

Having the same experience as you. I was able to get the first version of High Sierra working using the advice here but High Sierra Supplemental has been a frustratingly tough challenge. So far, I can’t get Nvidia installed no matter what settings I use.

Tried SMBIOS 6,1 and 17,1 but made no difference.

Are you on the supplemental update?

Yes, my test system is on build 405. It's a virgin (fresh install) w/o my production systems' apps.
