[solved] How to disable external mic

I am using AppleHDA_CX20751.kext from rehabman's github. When I am connecting headphones with microphone, mic changes to external and I can't find a way to switch it back. Since external mic is not working, is there a way to disable it in layout.xml?

There is. But you can still get your external mic to work. I've successfully got it to work after installing CodecCommander.kext and a custom config SSDT. See my repo here: https://github.com/the-braveknight/Lenovo-Z50-DSDT-Patch
