Ok, I figured it out.

All I had to do is to run audio_realtekALC-120.sh from https://github.com/toleda/audio_RealtekALC

Case closed!

That is a different way... the ALC283 in realtekALC.kext is really only for desktops.
You should have never installed realtekALC.kext when using AppleHDA_ALC283.kext.
Two mutually exclusive solutions to the problem...

Well... It works for now and this is exactly what I need. Looking forward for hibernation when some one figures out how to make it work. =)

Having both realtekALC.kext and AppleHDA_ALC283.kext is nonsense.

Hello all together,

i have an VN7-791G too and noticed one more problem with my laptop and don't want to open an separate thread to get help. I hope its okay.

To the problem:

When i put the laptop with lid close in sleep mode it's working fine. Wake with lid open goes only trough pushing the power button (it's ok for me) the screen goes automatically on and my login screen is there. Everthing is working (e.g. USB, WLAN, Touchpad)

When i use Apple>Sleep in menu sleep is working too but after lid open i have again to push power button and have to press any key on my keyboard to get a picture. After logging in my touchpad is no more working and something is going wrong with my usb configuration.

summary:

With Apple>sleep the display get not automatically on after waking like lid close / lid open and touchpad is no more working (the problem is USB related i thing)

I attached problem reporting files and pictures of USB and IOReg after sleep with lid close/open and apple>sleep

thanks.

Kexts are not installed properly (all kexts you need should be installed to the system volume).
Files in ACPI/origin are too old to compare (you need to press F4 in Clover, as per "Problem Reporting").

Sorry, updated my attached files and tested before posting them with installed kexts to system with same result.

Quipper
Well. Apart that there might be any issues during installation, I can tell that in my case it is the same: the only way to sleep correctly is to close lid.

More over, I have to press power button as system will not wake automatically.
