Audio - HDMI Audio AppleHDA [Guide]

Hi again Toleda, sorry for posting again xd

I see no HDMIAudio file for Skylake, does that mean I can't get HDMI audio running on a Skylake 1151 chipset and MSI GTX 1060 OC HDMI output? <3

Hi. I've been trying to get my audio running for a while now using the guide but somehow seem stuck. I've done my best to attach what I can from the recommended files in Problem Reporting. Many thanks..... so.

1) Description of Problem:

Now I'm getting the message "“audio_cloverALC-120_v1.0b0.command” could not be executed because you do not have appropriate access privileges." Audio is only coming out Internal speakers (via either the front panel headphones or the green audio output at rear). There is some noise when coming out the rear output. No audio via DP to my monitor at all.

2) OSX 10.12.4 /motherboard GA-Z170X-UD5-TH /BIOS F21 /processor i7 6700K /graphics gigabyte geforce gtx 1050 ti

3) Being a 100 series mobo I wasn't too sure what guide applied. Sorry I'm a newbie here. I copied the AppleHDA.kext into EFI/Clover/kexts/10.12, selected ALC 1150 and 100 series drivers in Multibeast and restarted. I tried to run the file above in #1 and got that access privilege message.

4) Terminal Output here (for some reason I couldn't attach to this post)

Sorry I'm not sure where to find the other commands you require and if they apply. These ones...
  1. audio_cloverALC-1xx...command
  2. audio_pikeralphaALC-1xx...command
  3. audio_realtekALC-1xx...command
  4. AppleHDA8Series.sh
  5. audio_cloverHDMI-1xx...command
Happy to attach if needed and you can steer me where to download them from.

5) IOReg attached

6) Couldn't seem to find how to save Console messages. Will restart after I send this message then try again and append to this post.

7) I don't appear to have any of those kexts mentioned in Library/Extensions

8) Do I need to attach the DCPI Manager status. The link to that app in the "Problem Reporting" guide took me to a download for a version that seems to only apply to Mountain Lion and I also got a malware detected warning so not so sure about it.

9) same as number 4.

# Edit 1, Console report last boot attached as pdf. rtf extension not allowed for some reason

Where does it say to do hat? Remove.
There is some noise when coming out the rear output.
Audio ID: 2 audio outputs (Bk/O) are mapped to input (Bu/P). Use Audio ID: 1.
could not be executed because you do not have appropriate access privileges
Where did you move the script?
No audio via DP to my monitor at all.
Off topic, onboard only. See HDMI Audio AppleHDA/cloverHDMI

In spite of the mistakes, audio is working.
Edit config.plist/Devices/Audio/Inject/2 to 1.

Skylake/HD 5x0, (remove property from config.plist, if present)
  • ACPI/DSDT/Patches/Item ? (10.11+-Rename-HECI2IMEI
  • ACPI/DSDT/Patches/Item ? (10.8+-Rename-GFX02IGPU)
  • ACPI/DSDT/Patches/Item ? (Rename HDAS to HDEF)
    • See HD5x0/*HDEF not native, below
  • KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/Item ? (HD530-4_displays)
  • KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/Item ? (HD530 Port 5 HDMI fix, Port 6 HDMI fix, Port 7 DVI fix)

I followed the cloverHDMI guide in post #1. I have working HDMI audio with my HD530 and My GT 710. Now I want to make sure I have a clean system...

In reading the notes quoted above... it looks like I should now remove the patch "rename GFX0 to IGPU" as well as the 10.11-SKL-1912000-4_displays patch in config.plist?

When I do that - all seems to still be working, but I no longer have IGPU in my ioreg (attached)... which I thought was important. my ACPI/patched folder has:

HD530-SSDT-HDEF-HDAS-1.aml
HD530-SSDT-HDMI-HD530.aml
Nvidia-SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-PEG0.aml

I should also point out that I am running with Lilu/IntelGraphicsFixup as well.

Can't remember where I got the idea to move AppleHDA.kext into Clover/Kexts/10.12. I think from someone on youtube who appeared to know what they were talking about. :(. My bad! Duly removed. I've since discovered Tonymacx86 is the best source of what to actually do. Managed to get all my USB ports sorted with the help of Rehabman and have learnt quite a bit in the process. On something of a journey here.

In your advice about editing my config.plist I'm not sure if you are asking me to replace the "2" with a "1" or whether you want me to actually type "2 to 1" in that field. Both appear acceptable to Clover Configurator. If you could clarify that would be great. Sorry, I'm really knew to all this.

I'm not aware of moving any script. I don't actually know what a script is. What is it called and where should it be? I trust there is some way to find it and put it where it should be?
