Hey, I'm looking to get this laptop. Does anyone know if HDMI or Display Port Works? What about audio over hdmi or displayport?

no audio at this moment. But HDMI works perfectly

how did u made it work?

I just put a SD card in the slot to see, and it working, read and write data without problems

U should use a patch for keyboard backlight (post1). and it work perfectly
If u use the tutorial properly step by step voodooi2c.kext will work on ur laptop trackpad elan1200.

I try to use the post 1 instructions but when I add the code, it give me error on "^^PCI0.LPCB.EC0.WRAM (0x04B1, Local1)" line!

Working on rog G702VM
- bluetooth is ok
- sound/mic is ok
- accelerated graphics is ok
Let me know how to fix backlight keyboards , brightness and if you have a solution for wifi intel chips.

can you tell me ao do you enable bluetooth? can you send to me your patched folder and your config.plist so I can check what I'm doing wrong? I have a GL502VM I think your config could be ok for me.... thanks.

Bluetooth was enabled out of the box after install but no wifi, no backlight keyz

In my pc, the keyboard backlite is working now!!!!! but I don't have trackpad!!

Did you remove these two files:

AppleIntelLpssI2C.kext
AppleIntelLpssI2CController.kext

in /System/Library/Extensions/

and then add

VoodooI2C.kext through kextwizard

then rebuild your kextcache.

Thanks! What about the headphone port? The OP mentions no headset/mic but what about normal headphones?
