Either one. Your choice. I tend to install to /L/E as there are less kexts there (easier to see what you installed).

All kexts you need should be installed to the system volume.
Kext injection via Clover is only for the installer and recovery partitions (only need "essential" kexts there).

It is possible to hold everything on the section of a clover? To save pure installation of system. What shortcomings at this approach?

Long and short of it:
- as would be expected, Kaby Lake CPU supported by using FakeCPUID (with Skylake ID)
- somewhat surprising (lucky guess on my part), Kaby Lake HD620 supported by using FakeID/IntelGFX and FakePCIID kexts.

Hi,I have Intel HD 620 (i5-7200) with nvidia 920mx on lenovo Idealpad 310.I am able to fix cpus compatibility using skylake CPUID but still stuck in graphics.Can anybody please check whats wrong i have done.
I have added FakeCPUID.kext and FakePCIIDIntelhd kext

Hi all,
Firstly, thanks to everyone for sharing your knowledge.
This is my case: I builded a USB with Unibeast, I edited config.plist and added FakeSMC.kext and USBInjectAll.kext on EFI/Clover/kexts/10.2 folder, but there is something doesnt work, because when i choose "boot mac OSX..." in clover, the screen is freezing with apple logo.
could someone help me? Thanks in advance

You have FakeCPUID in KernelAndKextPatches commented out (eg. #FakeCPUID instead of FakeCPUID).
The FakeCPUID setting is a requirement.
 
Dear RehabMan, I have i5-7500 cpu with HD630 GT2, I had post reply for hdmi audio , now I changed HDMI to DP line, I think the DP audio may easy than hdmi? is that right? any advice?
