Yes, there is a conflict.
Remove FakePCIID/Intel HD graphics. Restart. Reply with new files.

Both above kexts removed. Restarted, no Hdmi audio, files attached. Graphic "glitch" has returned despite GfxYTile fix being present. (FYI) Additionally, there appears to be video mirroring now (screenshot), as prior icon was single screen.

Thanks for your help so far!

Hello everybody,

I am trying to set up my hdmi/displayport audio correctly, and it's resisting me, so I'm posting here hoping to get some help.

1- Description of HDMI audio problem:
I got audio working on my shiny new motherboard (alc1220) via the applealc method with, and I'm trying to get audio output to my small monitor speakers via displayport out of my gtx980ti, mainly for skype calls. However, after trying different ways, I can't seem to make it function so I'll be grateful for any help.
Note: hdmiaudio sees my card on peg0 but IOregistry shows it is installed on peg1. I tried swapping the references in SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-PEG0 from peg0 to peg1 using Maciasl.

2- OS X version/motherboard model/BIOS version/processor/graphics:
OS X 10.12.4 / Gigabyte z270mx gaming 5/ F3 / i7 6700k / Geforce 980 ti

Procedure/Guide Used: cloverhdmi

I think I got all the documents needed, let me know if I am missing something.
It's probably the kind of problem with an easy solution that I just can't see, I am no specialist by any means.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I'm not sure how to do that?
Your config.plist is a disaster waiting to happen, remove every property with #
config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/AddHDMI_8000000/NO
config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/FIX_INTELGFX_100000/NO
config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/FixHDA_8000/NO

Graphics card is installed in the wrong slot, install to x16 slot.
Thanks for the answer Toleda. I know the graphic card is in the not commonly used x8 slot. It is so I can fit the my cpu fan in my quite narrow case (I'm still writing my build guide). I decided that the trade off was negligible. Is it not possible to get hdmi audio working using the x8 slot?

Better. Verify HDMI cable.

Hi toleda, I just now tried 3 other Hdmi cables, one brand new, all quality Hdmi cables, not cheapies. The other two were taken off working HDTV's running off Mini-Mac's for HTPCs. I also tried another HDTV (Sony) with no luck. :roll2:

Odd thing I also noticed, is the display "drop-down" menu from the screen menu bar shows "Connected Projector: Samsung"??!? (screenshot) The IOReg shows the proper ProductID and VendorID and DisplayPrefKey for the Samsung HDTV, and the Graphics/Dispay shows: Television. Doubt if it's important, though.

I've been working on this for several days, with several totally clean installs. Maybe it's a bad Mobo, processor, remnant of a prior audio install method who knows.

I very much appreciate your time and effort. Your ALC/HDMI command shell scripts are awesome!! No doubt my issue is something I've done wrong. If after your diligent analysis of my files you don't see anything fixable (to the extent possible over the internet), there's no sense in distracting you from others. I'll try some different things, maybe get lucky.

Thanks so much again. You're a genius with the patience of a saint! Michael

I've done the edits you suggested, hopefully it looks better now?

Appreciate the help!
