Your guide really helped with getting my rig updated to El Cap. I was having a lot of troubles getting video to show up, but your tip of updating the bios and using port 5 was great. I use nvda_drv=1 in my setup.
Getting about 24000 in Geekbench 4 and 35000 in Geekbench 3 so am very happy.
I am using some lower spec parts than you (haven't upgraded for a while) but everything is working well with the guide.
When I generate the SSDT using ssdtPRGen, I get a warning because Sandy Bridge is not supported by MacPro6,1.
It still seems to boot but I think I'm not getting turbo boost. Should I be using MacPro5,1?
Also, I'm not sure the best way to check for turbo
