macOS 10.12.4 Update

I would not use it stuff yet

hmm... is that right? I thought I read it somewhere 10.12.4 now incl. APFS ... thus I wonder if anyone uses it on hackintosh. Having said that, I don't see a new file system (APFS) in the Disk Utility on 10.12.4 though...

Apple File System is available in macOS Sierra, but with numerous limitations and is considered experimental. Among the limitations:[11]

• Drives formatted with Sierra’s version of APFS may not be compatible with future versions of macOS nor the final version of APFS[citation needed].
• The only option currently available for APFS is a case sensitive filesystem.
• APFS cannot be used with Time Machine, FileVault encryption, or Fusion drives.

A drive partition can be formatted with APFS in macOS Sierra with the diskutil command-line utility. A final version is expected in 2017.[11]

I finally had a chance to upgrade into a new desktop and the MacOS just released 10.12.4 so I built a UEFI boot with Clover with this image. I successfully boot into the clover and selected "Boot Mac OS X from USB" option and now I am waiting at the boot screen (with a loading bar at the bottom) and the loading bar does move and now it stuck at like 90% with a spinning wheel. I am wondering how long this would normally take cuz it has been like an hour or so...
Quick question:

1. Should I removed my NVIDIA card (980) and try again?
Update: I tried this and used the internal graphic card and it goes into the panic mode when I tried Boot Mac OS X from USB (bar moving and when it is around 40% it panics)...
2. Should I try legacy boot cuz it had proven successful before.
3. Should I just wait cuz it just takes a long time...
4. Should I change my boot flag? If so how?

Has anyone tried the APFS with this release on their hackintosh?

I would not use it stuff yet

I would use it if i was formatting a new data partition. Can't be any less road worthy than HFS+ at this point. It's default on iOS 10.3. Macs cannot boot from it and Clover, Grub etc cannot read it.

My usb sound card soundblaster play! 2 does not work any more after upgrading to 10.12.4. Everything else works fine.
Re-installed the creative drivers, but the sound card is gone. No device found

This time the update didn't work. Update installs, system reboots, then the Apple logo appears, the bar fills up and then I get a black screen

EDIT: Managed to fix it (thanks BreBO). Make sure to update clover before attempting to instal 10.12.4 (this should be added to the update procedure)

how did you get to update clover if the screen was black and you could not log in? i am having the same problem. Trying to clean install 10.12.4 but same black screen after the bar. if i could get to my 10.12.3 install it would be great so i could update clover

Have you installed Graphic kext (Nvidia Web/Intel HD) ?
