@Mork_vom_Ork - regarding your Berbice-patch from post #2130: could you please verify your DVI-patch (which obviously begins with 0004 like other DisplayPort lines)?

Modified BERBICE
000400000403000000010453000000001102050100000000 -> DisplayPort
000800000402000000010313000000002103030400000000 -> HDMI
000400000001000000010243000000001000040500000000 -> DVI
020000000001000039050108000000002001010100000000 -> internal Display (not used by your Card)
000400000403000000010533000000001204050500000000 -> DisplayPort (not used by your card)
This is the current patch i am using for BERBICE in conjunction with my Sapphire RX480 NITRO:

000400000403000000010100000000001204060100000000 -> DisplayPort
000400000403000000010200000000002205040300000000 -> DisplayPort
000800000402000000010300000000001102010200000000 -> HDMI
000800000402000000010400000000002103050400000000 -> HDMI
040000000004000000010500000000001000030600000000 -> DVI-D

And it still works perfectly with release version SIERRA 10.12.4

Did you do it using iHex?
Yes, I used the terminal to update, and then I add the "DF" id to both 4100 and 9150 kext, and then I apply that CU limit fix to 4100 kext, but only using the first two values. Now the Luxmark shows 36 cores and my cores are very similar.

To get "RX 480" instead of R9 XXX, I also use iHex to makes changes to 9150 kext.
1. I opened that 9150 kext from iHex
2. Change it to text(top left corner)
3. Find R9 XXX, replace with RX 480
4. restart.

I hope this is helpful information to someone.

Revod is in 12.2, he missed the 12.3 update now 12.4 is only available. Any way to only update to 12.3? It's a shame, 12.3 was the best version for RX 480 support, 12.4 may not be able to do the CU fix until the values get fixed, at least for the Fury card mod thread. Mork' fix may work though since it's in a different format (data values).

ky91's link should be the one to use, as long as Apple lets it stay active.

AMDRadeonX4100 is required to be loaded for QE/CI/Metal support
@Ur-Quan, if you have new "legacy patches" and info.plist for hd5750 and RX480 for 12.4, could you let me know? I still was not able to get your patches to work,in 12.3, but I will keep trying. Thank you! Also, I have a major color flickering going on with hd5750 when it in 12.4. I had heard of others with color flickering , but no other solutions. Hope this helper card necessity stuff gets some attention now, and eliminated. I can't get either rx480 or hd5750 working in Sierra.

I'm using Gigabyte RX460 4GB. It was necessary to use Mork's Berbice FB-patch for RX460 from post #2130 to get Displayport running after updating to 10.12.4. Displayport works now, but DVI don't.

I finished updating various stuff and I am also getting problems in one of the setups. I will not be able to look at it in much detail until later, but it is affecting the connectors on that setup.

Is this the beta or the new public release? This is good news!
