So should I update clover and keep config and acpi folder?

Latest Clover may still be broken.
You didn't say whether you installed the "RC scripts" or not.

I did..but now it randomly started working. Seems fine until now

Is the trackpad working on this guide? As mentioned in the first post of the guide... trackpad is not working since writing post, which was in June last year. Is there an update on this?

My laptop is the ASUS Zenbook UX305CA-OHM7-WH. I think I have the same issue as orditeck (post #29), where sleep doesn't work on my specific computer model. Everything else works - trackpad, sound, wifi, etc. Just never wakes up once the screen goes black. Tried messing with sleep settings (hybernate vs sleep), nothing works except for setting brightness to 0.

Anybody find a fix for this?

When I place my Zenbook into sleep mode, it does not wake up. Screen stays black, no keys nor USB devices wake up the machine. See attached for troubleshooting data, and thanks for any help offered!

Power management is not implemented.
ACPI is not patched correctly.
The guides for both are linked from the FAQ.

Note: Many laptops do not wake via keys/USB. You may need to use the power button.

Hello all,

First of all, thank you for providing so much information on this model, and on hackintosh in general.

I have followed chrinist's tutorial, and so far get most of the things working on UX305 (UX305CA to be specific).
I also replaced the internal wifi/bt card with DW1560.

The things that are NOT working are:
- touchpad (i've tried chrinist's kext, along with a few newer "VoodooI2C.kext" from this thread)
- hdmi output (i've tried orditeck's pointer to mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2)
- sleep and shutdown (the laptop goes to a no-op status, with dark screen and power light on; the only way i can properly shutdown is to "restart", and power off in the boot screen of Asus logo when it restarts)

At this point, I'm thinking maybe someone with better knowledge can point me to the right direction.
I've attached the output of "IORegistryExplorer 2.1" and cpuz, and a screenshot focusing on the touchpad in the ioreg file.

Thank you so much in advance.
