After Step 4.4 "Boot Mac OS X from USB" I get stuck black screen with apple logo

SOrry if this has been posted already guys. This is my first hack build and super anxious to get it runnin. In the installation guide I get up to step 4.4 Boot Mac OS X from USB, then I get stuck on a black screen with the apple logo in the center. Any one have this same problem? any help much appreciated. much love and happy 2k17

Gigabyte x99P-SLI
i7 6800k
