    1. No audio outputs recognized. HDMI is only connection I’m using. Expect sound out of my monitor/TV.
    2. After following instructions for HDMI fixes, MacOS does not reboot from hard disk. Must reboot from USB and reinstall MacOS. (See prior thread/posts)

Missed Post #1/cloverHDMI/6. Notes/3. Skylake/HD 5x0, (remove property from config.plist, if present)
  • config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Patches/Item ? (Rename HDAS to HDEF)
Amazing.

It worked. thank you.

Can I also get on board audio to work as well as HDMI?

Confirm successful boot with USB installer
Starting Clover revision: 3766; not booting correctly
Update Clover, reply with new files

Now I'm really dead in the water. I tried the following:
  1. Updated Clover EFI Boot Loader on my hard drive as well as latest clover configurator:
    1. 1st time reboot came up OK
    2. 2nd time reboot, MacOS wouldn't load, like before
  2. Reinstalled MacOS (my only way of recovering)
    1. Installed MacOS from USB
    2. on restart, it reset Clover back to old version
  3. Updated Clover on both my hard drive, and on my bootable USB
    1. Installed MacOS from USB again
    2. 1st time reboot, came up OK, with new clover
    3. 2nd time reboot, Mac OS wouldn't load, like before
  4. Tried to reinstall MacOS from USB again
    1. 1st tried booting MacOS from USB, did not load
    2. Then tried booting from USB to reinstall, and now can't even do that
The only think I can think of to do next is completely start over with older version of clover, but that's not what you wanted me to do.

Now what???

Then tried booting from USB to reinstall, and now can't even do that
Never update working USB Installer until the new install is working.
Making a new installer installs recent Clover, fine.

Remove: config.plist/ACPI/DST/Patches/Item 0/Rename HDAS to HDEF
Install ssdt_hdef-1-100-hdas.zip
Repeat experiments with and without HD530 graphics fix.

HDMI audio is now working after applying this method with the graphics fix in place

HDMI audio along with no glitches under 10.12.2. Thanks Toleda!
