I don't recall ever looking for reboot on USB3 device inserted...
Probably something wrong with USB port configuration.

The USB port configuration is Perfekt. The Problem is with USB 2.0, USB 3.0 device and USB Hub too

I try 10.12.2 and show again

Some models may have Renasas USB3.
I changed the repo to assume 5x30m has HDMI.

but config file not showing hdmi patch????

You may need some extra things for the USB hub. To narrow it down, try a USB port that is not connected to an internal hub.
But yes, let's take a fresh look with 10.12.2.
And of course, the work around is quite simple: eject/remove USB3 storage devices before shutdown.

Rumor has it that the internal display controller might not be capable of displaying 1920x1080, not sure how to determine this.

FWIW here is a 40pin to 30pin adapter and here is a couple of 1920x1080 displays (one LED and one IPS) if anyone wants to try it.

Ordered screen and adapter also have diff cables so I'll report back . Should be here Monday

I personally think that your Elitebook comes with a Dual Link LVDS stock because HP only lists one LVDS on there parts list.
