I installed os Sierra with the patch on my iMac 8,1.

Now I need a AirPort driver (BCM 4321 kext) that works on OS Sierra.

I know this is a new problem but I suspect that others also are interested for a solution.

Thanks!

Try:
  1. https://sites.google.com/site/osxyosemitewififix/.
  2. Continue using KEXT Utility and install BroadcomFix.kext from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/263533-broadcom-bcm4321-lion/#post_id_1864957.
After that, Sierra might panic and crash but when it reboots, you might be able to get WiFi. I have been successful on two different A1304 MacBook Airs 2,1 with BCM4321 adapters, one with a (0x14E4, 0x8B) adapter and one with a (0x14E4, 0x90) one. So far the machines haven't crashed again for several hours.

Hi, does it work? I've a MacBook Pro early 2008 (4,1) with the BCM4321 airport card. I would like to install Sierra. Do you have tested this tip?

Yes, it's my tip. I tried it and it works, though every other time you reboot there is a kernel panic, similar to the "Blue Screen of Death" from Windows computers...I would think maybe someone ought to be able to get installation from stopping the Kernel Panic, as Sierra itself bypasses the Kernel Panic every other boot.

Every reboot you have a kernel panic? It doesn't seems a stable solution :(

No, it's literally every other reboot. Sierra bypasses the kernel panic after the first one and boots cleanly into Sierra. However if you boot again, it throws another panic. It's every other reboot.

Ok, understood. As I boot my mac every morning, that's not a very practical way. Hopefully someone will find a solution to the kernel panic.

If you have a SSD booting might take 30 seconds so you only have lost 30 seconds. I don't think kernel panics hurt the computer per se...

I don't know if repeated kernel panics may hurt the Mac, but my boot time is very slow, as my macbook Pro is old and the startup apps are many...

I see, in that case it might prove an annoying waste of time, seeing I think the difference between Sierra and El Capitan is not that great...
