Hi Rehabman. Ive re-checked my work. How ever adding HS02 stops SSP2 from mounting anything although its plugged in. Can you verify my work please.

I don't see anything wrong here.

So everything checks out now? I plugged that USB 3 Hub into SSP2/HS02 but it doesn't seem to even mount The Hub as USB 3 or 2. Can I remove HS02 and change the number of SSP2?

Try other devices in that port. Also enable the port limit patch and use -uia_ignore_rmcf to test your ports without any port restriction as a way to verify you injected the correct ports.

Note that port-count should be <13 00 00 00>, not <15 00 00 00>.

So after adding the patch SSP2 works but no USB 2 devices mount in that port here look at this this is what i mean but if i remove HS02 and the port limit patch that USB 3 works but with only USB 3 devices. This is the ioreg with port limit patch with a USB 3 hub connected to SSP2.

Update. Turns out that there is something wrong with the front panel USB port on SSP2, HS02 I've verified this by taking the front panel from my Bitfenix Phenom case and plugged it into the front USB 3 header on the board. I'm going to RMA to Bitfenix and get a new front panel for my Prodigy case.

I was starting to suspect a hardware problem...

I tested the front panel from 2 different cases here and it seems to work so my mind is giving me that the problem is the front panel on the case. Although the problem is still there with the current issue tho.

I have a Bitfenix Neos and can confirm that the front panel 3.0 port is very buggy when connecting a 3.0 device in(Can't hold a stable connection). Must be a common problem with Bitfenix cases

Must be you're config. My H97M-D3H is fine but my H97N-WIFI has the problem.
