RX 570
Hi , i'm new here and i need some help please ...

I'm using an ASUS Maximux Z170 GENE VIII:

  • i7 6700K
  • 16GB RAM DDR4
  • Sierra 10.12.1 Clover
  • Intel HD Graphics 530

Just about everything else works, but the graphics is only getting 7MB of RAM when I look at the system information, which causes slow animations, weird graphic glitches.

I have tried using some of the bootflags like injecting the ID, but no luck .

If anyone has had this issue, help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem here. Have you solved it?

Thank you, I'll post here if I find solution too

I found something, but I can't make it work for me.

"In clover set fake id to 0x19120003, and use ig platform 0a206080, it should give you SKL CRB @1536mb."

Please try it and tell me if it work for you!

Also tried that before but didn't work :/ I know there's a sierra guide coming somewhere next week for my laptop (Dell xps 15 9550) where almost everything works. I'll let you know when it comes out! And If I find anything before I'll also let you know ofcourse:)

OK. Thank you!

I believe the recommended fix for using the 530 to get the right amount of vram/proper acceleration is to set inject intel to yes and set the ig-platform-id to 0x19120000, both in clover config. See post one of this thread:

Some folks also recommend upping the igpu memory allocation in the BIOS to at least 64MB.
This doesn't address other issues related to the graphical glitches in Sierra, dual monitors, or black screen caused by using SMBIOS MacPro 6,1 or iMac 16,1 or 17,1.

I try to set the ig-platform-id to 0x19120000 but the only thing that I got was boot loop on startup screen with apple logo. Also I don't have such a setting in my BIOS for graphics memory :(
