Hi Their,
I just installed El Capitan on my second hard drive in my pc. I already had windows 8.1 installed on my computer. When I boot up my computer I use darwinx86 on my usb stick to chose whether I want to boot into windows or el capitan. It works flawlessly but I need that usb.

So what I need to know is witch bootloader should I install to chose where I want to boot from. Just to let you know that my el capitan drive is in a sata 2 port and my windows drive is in a sata 3 port (El Capitan will only boot on stat 2). I tried clover legacy but it only works with the usb. When I take out the usb it doesn't boot. So which bootloader should I use. I don't want to reinstall windows because I have important files on their but I don't mind reinstalling el capitan. Remember I need the bootloader to ask me where I boot up from without a usb.
Thanks :)

With no hardware info it is hard to tell (Forum Rules require hardware in your profile and/or a sig for just this reason)
Running El Capitan you will have to use Clover as your boot loader, which can be used to boot Windows if you set the OS X drive first in BBS boot order or you can add OS X to your Windows boot manager and boot Windows first.
Whether you install Clover UEFI mode or Legacy mode depends on how Windows is installed - run msinfo32 and see what the BIOS mode is Legacy or UEFI.

I have 8gb of dd3 ram, a i7 920 and a GigaByte GA-EX58-UD5 (rev. 1.0) Motherboard.

I have windows 8.1

I have tried clover legacy but it only works with the usb in for me and it doesn't detect anything (Windows or Hackintosh)

I think my bios is legacy as it is blue and white and doesn't have mouse support.

Also if I do install clover will it see my Windows installation as El Capitan doesn't detect my windows hdd
