MacOS Sierra installation Killer e2200 ethernet not working

alright so i created the folder in the mkdir volumes efiusb but when i go to mount it, it just tells me the usage of the mount command

Yes, you'll have to restart to load the "new" kext (and unload the old one). And I know you'll hate to hear this, but this isn't a guaranteed solution - just something that I think might fix your problem.

I have the same problem with e2200 after installing sierra macOS. Does the solution suggested work?
 
the first solution worked for me, I used clover configurator to mount both EFI partitions at once, I did not test the chown one so I can't comment on that.

I can also confirm that iipatrick solution worked for me as well. I did a clean install of Sierra on a Gigabyte Z97MX motherboard with a Samsung SM951 256GB
 
Thanks so much for this. I had the same issue - ethernet worked on initial boot from installer, but stopped after Multibeast (and also b0rked ethernet on my Win 7 partition - how did it manage that?). I used the chown solution.

Make sure that you boot without cache after running multibeast.
