I had the same issue, and here is what fixed it for me:
sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext
sudo reboot
I have the same issue. My ethernet was detected but after a reboot it no longer showed up. In the network settings it shows that i am using dial up instead. I tried this method but it didnt work. Im very new to hackintoshes so maybe i am doing something wrong. Help is much appreciated.I had the same issue, and here is what fixed it for me:

sudo reboot
