I had the same issue, and here is what fixed it for me:

sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext

sudo reboot

I build machine on Gigabyte Z170 - Gaming K3. Ethernet port disappeared after Multibeast usage.
I confirm, this solution worked for me too.

Thank you

I have the same issue. My ethernet was detected but after a reboot it no longer showed up. In the network settings it shows that i am using dial up instead. I tried this method but it didnt work. Im very new to hackintoshes so maybe i am doing something wrong. Help is much appreciated.

Im using an MSI h97 Gaming 3 motherboard and an Intel Core i5 4690

I am new, so sorry if this is a stupid question:

When do I type in these two lines in terminal?

I am guessing I mount a partition with EFI mounter and then just type them into terminal and restart?
At least this worked with a script that fixed my audio....

Don't want to break anything soon, since I am very happy now having the Audio and Graphics running of my first build..

Strange that my Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2200 works natively by High Sierra 10.13.4 as a E2400 without any driver installation needed from MultiBeast 10.3.0 (2). Can I just leave this as it is?

EDIT: After a clean install 10.13.4 sees the ethernet adapter as a E2400 until Multibeast is installed. If you do not install the driver from Multibeast the ethernet adapter vanishes after reboot. Installing the correct driver the ethernet reappears as a E2200 and all is well.
