then at 10.11.4, I follow this thread for updating & to fix my injector/dummy.
& on 10.11-10.11.4 audio has been working well without issue...
but now after doing clean install 10.11.5, I lost my audio.
Injector kext seen it does not work/not load, even with a new repatch injector ....why..?

removed not working HDA injector & clover patch ... SOLVED with AppleHDAPatcher(thx to mirone).
but still curious why the injector+clover patch does not work.

I have the same issue and same laptop as you, could you please share with me pached AppleHDA.kext and DSDT file. I would really appreciate.

Read post #1. It is never a good idea to share ACPI files from one computer to another.

Thank you @RehabMan, i'm not a real expert, but as i understand post #1 explains only how to correct AppleHDA, but i have very unusual sound card on my HP Elitebook 8470p IDT 7605 and i need to make changes somewhere in layoutid in pached file for my pc, but how can i do this i don't understand really. Maybe you could explain in a few words what steps i should do to run my sound up? It would be really helpful
